If you were God, how would you measure a Christians spiritual life? I mean, like we are talking about the real deal, such as the difference between yogurt and home made ice cream. If God were looking at you right now, would he be measuring your spiritual life by your outside appearance, your attitude, by what you say, or how you act, or what you are thinking in your mind or would he be looking at your heart to determine your spirituality? “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life,” Proverbs 4:23
This verse has had a great impact on my spiritual life. It taught me that Christianity is a heart matter. To be honest with you I don’t really like my heart exposed, though it is every time I speak or act.
